Nepse Stock Simulator · Privacy Policy

How Nepse Stock Simulator handles your information

Nepse Stock Simulator is a fictional stock-trading simulator, built for entertainment and education. It uses randomly generated prices and does not connect to real markets, real brokers, or real money. This policy explains what the App does — and doesn't do — with your information today, and how you'll be told if that ever changes.

In short, right now

1. What the App stores on your device

Nepse Stock Simulator keeps a small amount of information locally, using Flutter's shared_preferences storage. None of it travels off your device in this version:

None of this identifies you personally — it just lets the App remember your simulated portfolio between sessions. Uninstalling the App, or clearing its storage, deletes it for good.

2. What we don't collect

3. Permissions used

On Android, Nepse Stock Simulator requests a handful of permissions — used only to power the on-device reminder about your simulated daily bonus:

PermissionWhat it's for
POST_NOTIFICATIONSShow the local reminder
SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM / USE_EXACT_ALARMFire the reminder around 9:00 AM local time
RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETEDRe-schedule it after your device restarts
WAKE_LOCK, FOREGROUND_SERVICEKeep the scheduler running reliably
VIBRATEStandard notification vibration

None of these are used to collect data or talk to a server. On iOS, this feature doesn't exist, so no equivalent permissions are requested.

4. Children's privacy

Nepse Stock Simulator doesn't knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children — because it doesn't collect personal information from anyone at all. The App simulates trading with fictional data and isn't a real financial product.

5. What might change later

Future versions of Nepse Stock Simulator may introduce:

None of this exists in the current version. If and when we add any of it, we will:

  • Update this policy to spell out exactly what's newly collected, why, and who it's shared with
  • Notify you inside the App — before the feature turns on — so you can review the change
  • Design any accounts, sync, or ads to be clearly disclosed and, where the law requires it, consent-based

6. Data security

Since everything currently stays on your device, its security depends on your device's own protections — passcode, encryption, and so on. Keeping your OS up to date is the best thing you can do here.

7. Your choices

8. Third-party services

The current version integrates no third-party analytics, advertising, or data-processing services. Ticker symbols shown come from publicly known NEPSE-listed company names, used purely for illustration — Nepse Stock Simulator isn't affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to NEPSE or any real broker or exchange, and every price shown is randomly generated, not real market data.

9. Changes to this policy

We'll update this page as the App evolves, especially around the changes described in Section 5. The "last updated" date at the top will always reflect the latest version, and for anything material — accounts, cloud storage, ads — we'll give you an in-app notice too.
